Ashoka White Oak Capital has named Hiren Dasani as Chief Investment Officer for Emerging Markets, effective 12 August 2025, strengthening the firm’s focus on Asia and other dynamic markets.

Based in Singapore, Dasani will lead the firm’s emerging markets investment strategy, manage the Ashoka White Oak Emerging Markets Trust and Ashoka India Equity PLC, both listed on the London Stock Exchange, and oversee its UCITS portfolios for European investors.

He joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he spent 18 years, most recently as Co-Head of Global Emerging Markets Equity, managing portfolios worth around USD 22 billion. His experience spans nearly two decades in emerging markets investing.

Founded in 2017, Ashoka White Oak Capital manages about USD 10 billion in equity assets through offices in Singapore, India, and Spain, with a growing global distribution network.
